The 9th International Conference WATER FOR ALL 2022 was held from 19th to 20th of May in Osijek. The experiences and knowledge of water management, environmental protection and preservation of water resources were gathered and exchanged under the motto “Groundwater – making invisible visible”.

In order to reduce the potential risk of the hazards (droughts, floods, accidental pollutions and earthquakes) which significantly affect water supply systems and to improve the way of the implementation of the Water Safety Plans, first results of the MUHA project were presented. The topic was dedicated to “The preparation of the drinking water systems for possible hazards – the MUHA project” presented by the Croatian Geological Survey.

The developed project’s results MUHA tool (http://muha.apps.vokas.si/home) and UNAS networking site (http://muha-unas.apps.vokas.si/) will lead to raising awareness of a fast and successful process of the Water Safety Plans implementation. To achieve this goal, it is important to:

  • understand national laws,
  • ensure safe water for human consumption,
  • increase end-user confidence and
  • reduce water safety costs for human consumption.

In addition to the mentioned project results, the hydrogeological and geophysical results performed by the Croatian Geological Survey with an emphasis on the Golubinka coastal karst spring were shown.
